Marble Finds is committed to accurate visual representation. Collectible marbles are condition-sensitive objects, and photography plays a critical role in honest presentation.
Imaging Equipment
All photographs are captured using a native 1x lens on an iPhone 17 Pro Max. No clip-on lenses or external optics are used.
Images are presented exactly as captured. Marble Finds does not apply post-production editing, retouching, enhancement, surface cleanup, or digital alteration of any kind.
Focus and Clarity
Photographs are captured using single-shot focus techniques to capture surface and pattern characteristics as naturally as possible.
Lighting Conditions
Marbles are photographed under a controlled mix of halogen and LED lighting.
Lighting is intentionally unforgiving to reveal condition honestly. Surface features, reflections, and minor imperfections may appear more visible than under casual viewing conditions. This approach is deliberate and intended to provide collectors with clear, reliable visual information.
Reflections and Glass Characteristics
Reflections are inherent to glass surfaces and are not defects. Highlights, glare points, and light reflections are normal optical behavior when photographing polished glass objects.
Color Representation
Every effort is made to represent color accurately. However, colors may vary slightly depending on monitor calibration, screen settings, and individual device display characteristics.
Angles and Presentation
Marbles are typically photographed from fixed, representative viewing angles. When additional visual clarity is beneficial, full rotation imagery may be provided.
Size Measurement
All marble sizes are measured at the widest point using digital calipers.
Additional Image Requests
If additional photographs or viewing angles are desired, we are happy to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible. Please contact us prior to purchase if further visual documentation would assist your evaluation.
Policy Intent
Collectible marbles derive value from condition, originality, and visual appeal. These photography standards exist to maintain transparency, consistency, and buyer confidence.
