A rare and visually impressive antique German End-of-Day paneled Blizzard Mica onionskin dating from circa 1860–1920. At 1-11/16 inches, this is a substantial handmade example with an elaborate multilayered construction.

The marble features an opaque yellow candle-type core surrounded by two pink panels and two green panels. Its subsurface layer contains two striking panels of dense Blizzard Mica, creating a brilliant field of reflective flakes around the colored core. One side includes a clear space, while the opposite side has lighter mica coverage, allowing the internal construction to remain visible from multiple angles.

The combination of large size, paneled onionskin construction, candle-type core and extensive Blizzard Mica makes this an especially desirable example for an advanced collection.

Condition is Near Mint(-), 8.1. A small chip, one small flake, several very small chips, pinpricks and pocket wear are present and fully disclosed. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they document the marble’s complete surface and internal construction from multiple angles.
