ROBERT HAMON, Handmade Glass Art Marble, Gold and Copper Lutz, VHTF

Measures 1 5/32 inch. A large shooter from renowned glass artist Robert L. Hamon. Mr. Hamon was a West Virginia contemporary glass artist whose handmade marbles are typically signed "R Hamon" and most often dated to the 1990s. This specimen is signed "R Hamon 96". Working from the Hamon family glass tradition, he is known for quality art glass, paperweights, and collectible marbles in classic contemporary styles. He is no longer with us, and his signed marbles remain sought after by collectors.

This marble is on a pink-and-clear base with a ribbon of blue with black borders. There are ribbons of gold and copper aventurine surrounding the blue and black ribbon. This is a beautiful example of R. Hamon's work.
