Steve Willis is among the most respected soft glass torchworking artists, and his Fire and Ice series is the work he is best known for among collectors.

This is a large example at 1 3/8" - substantial in hand. Vivid flame work sits over a deep, intense blue core packed with ice bubbles. The bubbles inside catch light in a way photos can only hint at. It's one of those marbles that improves every time you pick it up.

Willis Ar Glass (WAG) developed this fire-and-ice concept and no one else has matched it. Unsigned, but the construction, color palette, and execution are unmistakably his work from a lot I acquired.
