End of Day (EOD)
End of Day (EOD) is a collector term, not a literal description of workshop practice. These marbles were made from the first or last pulls off a cane, or outside the main production run, where color mixing was less controlled. The result was unpredictable and individual. Primary types are Onionskins, where color flecks stretch across the surface, and Clouds, where they do not. Circa 1850 to 1915.
